NEW RULE EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY!  SUBSTITUTIONS CAN BE
MADE ON ANY STOPPAGE OF PLAY BY BOTH TEAMS!
INCLUDING CORNER KICKS AND PENALTY KICKS!

NEW GAME REPORTING FOR REFEREES!
Coaches, you need to bring a Game Report 2009 to every home game!  More
info on filling out the report is on the Referee page.
 Referees will still need your
Game Report forms (showing coaches and player information) to be given to
them prior to a game.

CHANGING A GAME DATE/TIME:
If a team is unable to attend a scheduled soccer game, please let Hoyt Smith
(President) know ASAP!  Then you and the other coach need to decide a new
game date/time (make sure the field you would use is available) and also email
that information to the previously mentioned persons so that referees can be
assigned and this website updated.

RETURNING COACHES/ COACHES WITH Y1 (or Level G) LICENSE:
Is your team getting older or are you coaching older players?  It is
recommended to get a Level E coaching license- this clinic is geared towards
coaching ages 10-14 years.  Several coaches in our club have taken this clinic
and found it incredibly informative and enjoyable!  ESC will reimburse the
registration fee for coaches completing this clinic.  Clinics are held throughout
the year- more info can be found at
www.wiyouthsoccer.net.

COACHES
Bring your Coaches Card
to every game!
Referees are being
instructed to ask Coaches
for their cards.  You can
use a copy of your card and
leave your card at home for
safekeeping!
COACHES, do you ever feel as though your
kids don't pay attention?  That your
instructions are lost on them?  Check out the

Best Practices Booklet
from USSoccer.com,
it helps coaches learn what each age level is
ready for and how to best coach them!  (It is a
70 page guide- give it time to download.)
NEW TO SOCCER?  Not sure what a CHIP
PASS is or a CARRY?  Download the
SOCCER TERMINOLOGY document (in
Word format) and be in the know!
Planning on going to a
tournament?  Let Dave Welsh
know- he is the Tournament
Coordinator & if there is a Group
Discount will be handling it!
